85te ATEX/IECEx Load Shackles for Mooring Application 📰
20th Jan 2023Packed and ready for despatch are these 85te ATEX/IECEx certified load shackles, which will be used to monitor the loads in the mooring lines of an FSRU (Floating Storage and Regasification Unit). The real time data provided will be used to ensure that the loads on the mooring lines stay within safe working load limits by identifying any instances of approach to over and under loading, so action can be taken to get line tension back within safe limits. The GN Rope H10 Super load shackles have an integral amplifier to provide a 4-20mA output and are suitable for use in Zone 1 and 2 hazardous areas. Proof load and calibration was witnessed by BV.
