9.5 Tonne Submersible Load Shackles 📰
19th Apr 2024These four 9.5 tonne load shackles have been ordered by a Canadian company and will be used to monitor the tension in the mooring lines of wave powered desalination devices. They use a G2140 shackle body with a stainless steel load monitoring pin, and have an integral amplifier to provide a 4-20mA output. SubConn connectors also allow for continuous subsea submersion to 50m. Connector protection was also included as part of the load shackle design to minimise the chance of an knocks or impacts causing any damage.
