Load Pins for Mooring Load Monitoring on a SPM Buoy 📰
27th Apr 2018Ready for despatch are these Ex’d Zone 1 & 2 certified ATEX load pins, which will be shipped to a major shipbuilding and heavy industry construction company in the Middle East. The two larger load pins are rated at 350 tonnes and will fit into the link plate of a mooring hawser as part of a SPM buoy refurbishment. They are being supplied with armoured cable with additional heavy duty hose protection and a connector protection cage (not shown). The smaller load pin is rated at 15 tonnes and has been manufactured to fit a spelter socket that will be used to monitor the loads on the SPM buoy winch.
