18th Sep 2026We have recently supplied this hazardous area approved load measuring pin to a leading offshore deck equipment manufacturer based in Singapore with an impressive 1200 tonne load rating.
Engineered for a demanding offshore application where reliability, accuracy and certification were critical, this load pin has ATEX and IECEx approval for use in hazardous areas and has undergone a full design review by ABS. Manufactured from 17-4PH stainless steel it includes an integral amplifier to provide a 4-20mA output for simple integration into a PLC system, and with a diameter of 300mm and length of 915mm weighs in at a hefty 490kgs.
