Load Links for Ship Deck Crane 📰
7th Sep 2026Designed and manufactured for a customer in the USA, these stainless steel load links form part of a regular repeat order and are used to provide accurate load monitoring on a shipboard deck crane.
A key requirement was for one end of the load link to be fully compatible with a Ropeblock 3/4" wedge socket. To achieve this, the load link was engineered with a bespoke fork arrangement, manufactured to precisely match the relevant socket dimensions and ensure a secure, reliable fit.
Rated at 11,350 lbf (5.15 tonnes), the load links incorporate an integral amplifier providing a 4–20 mA output, making them suitable for direct integration into the crane's monitoring and control system. They deliver an accuracy of better than 0.3% of rated load, providing reliable and repeatable load measurement in a demanding marine environment.
