1200kN Annular Compression Load Cell for Marine Application 📰
3rd Nov 2017Delivered this week to a marine engineering company was this 1200kN annular compression load cell. Designed specifically to fit within a shaft, the load cell measures the tension in a mooring system during pay out and vessel mooring. Manufactured from stainless steel and with an internal diameter of 140mm, the load cell allows the mooring chain to pass through its centre, enabling the loads to be measured when an integral non-return mechanism makes contact with the load cell.
