1,700 Tonne Load Pin 📰
25th Jul 2025On its way to America is this whopping Ø400mm x 1075mm dual bridge load monitoring pin rated to 17,000kN with 2 x cable exits. This pin will be installed within a test machine and used to verify the loads applied by hydraulic actuators to pipeline specimens for nuclear projects.
The pin had a 150% (25,500 kN) proof load applied and was calibrated at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL)
We've included one of our 3.25te wireless transmission shackles here to give you an idea of the size of the pin and the plate it's sitting on is the anti-rotation 'keeper plate' which is 600mm long.
