25klbf Dual Bridge Load Pins 📰
14th Apr 2023Load pins come in all shapes and sizes as they have to dimensionally replicate existing load bearing pins. We have recently manufactured these 25klbf (11.3 tonne) load pins for a company that manufactures bulk material handling systems. They wanted to measure the loads on a hydraulic cylinder in one of their products, so LCM Systems designed a load pin to suit. They have a diameter of 38mm and an overall length of 400m, with two load cell bridges to provide dual redundancy, each providing a 4-20mA output.
