500lb Load Pin for Wire Rope Socket 📰
23rd Apr 2021This unusually shaped load pin has been designed to fit into a wire rope socket to provide tension load monitoring on the wire rope. Designed and manufactured for a US customer, it is rated to 500lbs (227kgs) and is fully submersible as it will be permanently situated around 1m subsea. The load sensing part of the pin is just 35mm long with a diameter of 9.5mm, and has been pressure tested to 45psi. LCM Systems can design load pins for many different types of application, with load ratings from around 100kgs to well over 1000 tonnes.
