500te Compression Load Cells 📰
16th Jun 2023These 500 tonne compression load cells, ordered by one of our customers in Singapore, are from our standard CPA range. Available in load ratings from 2 tonnes up to 1000 tonnes, the CPA is a compact and versatile stainless steel load cell with environmental sealing to IP67, making them suitable for use in both indoor and permanent outdoor installations.
There are many options available, including flat top versions, ATEX/IECEx explosion proof (Ex d) and intrinsically safe (Ex i), wireless, loading caps, integral carry handles (recommended above 100 tonnes), mounting base, integral connectors and internal amplifiers. These particular load cells were supplied with a top cap, handles and integral connector. Additionally, they each have a TR150 hand-held display for simple reading of load data. Our customer also required a UKAS calibration and an accuracy of 0.25% of rated load, as the load cells will be used as master load cells for their in-house calibration test machine. This calibration was carried out by the National Physical Laboratory (NLP).
