300kN ATEX/IECEx Triple Bridge Load Cells 📰
22nd Mar 2022Six of these 300kN rated ATEX/IECEx Ex'd (explosion proof) tension and compression load cells have been manufactured for a US customer, and will be installed on an actuator for structural static and fatigue testing purposes. As they are being used in the safety critical aerospace industry, the end user requested that the load cells have triple redundancy, and so were designed to incorporate three independent strain gauge bridges, each with integral amplifiers to provide a 4-20mA output. The load cells have been supplied with a mounting base to facilitate tension measurements and are also suitable for use in hazardous area zones 1 and 2.
