Load Pin for Monitoring Tension in Rigging 📰
25th Feb 2022This small 166kN load measuring pin will be used to measure the tension in yacht rigging to make sure it stays within safe limits as well as providing data that enables adjustments of the rigging tension to be made to facilitate optimal sail performance, and therefore maximum speed. With a diameter of 27mm and overall length of just 72mm, the load pin has been designed to fit into the forestay and has been supplied with an SGA-D amplifier to covert the mV/V signal to 4-20mA for simple integration into the vessel management system.
